Do you enjoy getting outdoors and being active? We are looking for volunteers to support and guide our clients at our walking groups.
Purpose: To support and guide our clients at our walking groups
Location: Abingdon, Banbury, Didcot, Oxford or Witney
Supervised by: Our Volunteer Coordinator and Community Engagement worker in your area
Duties
- Attend our bi-weekly walking groups.
- Support and chat to clients.
- Help guide clients whilst on the walk.
Person Specification:
- A good listener
- Confidence to chat to new people
- Enjoys walking
Visual impairment awareness training will be provided, in addition to a full DBS check. Any reasonable expenses, for example mileage, can be reimbursed.
