St. Mary’s Church, Chalgrove Touch Tour

Join us on 3rd June at 10:00am for a touch tour of Chalgrove’s historic St. Mary’s Church
Throughout the church there are interactive objects to touch; a pen friend has been designed to describe the room and objects found within it; help can also be provided throughout the visit with trained guides ready to answer any questions and assist in any way that is needed.
The nave of St. Mary’s Church dates to roughly 1150. There have since been a number of additions throughout the years until it became the building standing today. The building features wall paintings from the 14th century, a beautiful triple sedilia, and has played a role in England’s history from the time of Edward II to the Civil War.
