ActivEyes
The group ActivEyes organises events based in the City, run by Guy Lawfull, one of our visually impaired trustees. This group offers tennis sessions, regular trips to the Cutteslowe Horticultural Centre, and museum touch tours. The group also meets up for a regular Zoom session, and also a pub social at the Duke of Monmouth on Abingdon Road. If you would like more information, or would like to join the ActivEyes group, then please email Guy at activeyes@MyVision.org.uk or call 01865 725 595.
Banbury SocialEyes
Our Banbury group meets on the first Thursday of each month at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury. They also organise trips in the local area and occasional socials.
“We have a brilliant group of people who join us each month, and it has been great to connect local visually impaired people, so that they don’t feel so isolated. Janet Johnson who is one of our trustee’s leads the group and often organises exciting away days and trips out, we have previously been bowling, on a boat, and to the car museum!”
If you are interested in joining our Banbury group we welcome you and your family, friends and carers to come along. Please email info@myvision.org.uk or call 01865 725 595 to check that the next meet up is going ahead. Sometimes the group is changed due to holidays, so it is always best to check.
